Eeeeeeek! Emma and Nick's wedding day was crazy cool!!
They got married at the incredible Flock Hill Station in January, on a slightly chilly and overcast day. Everyone who knows me, knows how much I love rainy and stormy days - so when it threatened to rain I got a little excited inside!
We did most of the bridal party photos and portraits before the ceremony, while family and friends set up a backup ceremony location of the woodshed just incase the rain came in. We whisked around the amazing station and when it was ceremony time a few spits were starting to fall - the call was made to tough it out on the hill and the umbrellas were given out... Totally the best decision!!
The rain held off for the ceremony and we all got to enjoy the amazing location, heading back inside just in time as the sheets of rain hit. In my typical excitement I dragged Nick and Emma out for a few more snaps with the umbrellas (sorry for getting you a little wet guys!). The reception flew by and before I knew it, it was time to head off - but not before whipping the newlyweds out for some night rain photos. Like a crazy woman I sprinted down the road with a light and camera in-hand while these two huddled for warmth. My camera and I got completely drenched and I smiled the entire way home! Best day ever!
Any how enough of my ramblings! Enjoy XX
